Focused on expanding its business worldwide, ebankIT reduced the physical distance with its Partners by investing in award-winning technologies to disseminate the knowledge on ebankIT solution.
ebankIT has been offering since the 14th of May online training targeted to its Partners and Clients trough the ebankIT Academy, allowing them to “Learn anytime, anywhere at their own pace!”
Either comfortable at home or in the office looking at the laptop or tablet, outside working, or connected with the smartphone during a subway or train trip to work, Partners can easily explore multimedia content and upgrade their skills on ebankIT solution and become certified Partners!
eLearning was on the agenda as there was an increase of Partners worldwide and then as the recent COVID pandemic impacted on the face to face training. Besides that, there was also the need to design engaging and collaborative learning environments that would allow the best learning experience according to each learner’s needs.
According to Ana Mafalda Ferreira (ebankIT Academy Manager), “our target audience works in fast-paced environments with lots of pressure, responsibility, and technology constantly evolving. To reduce time and physical constraints were mandatory. Our online training allows learners to follow a flexible training path. They can navigate freely and organize their training according to their needs and motivation.”
Regarding the differences between a physical classroom versus an online space, she states: “The ebankIT Learning Management System has functionalities that allow real-time communication between learners and the e-tutor, and instructional designers are creative people when it comes to design engaging learning activities such as serious games or learning paths according to the job role and the course aims and learning outcomes. These overcome the constraints of the physical classroom training.”
The feedback has been positive which gives ebankIT the willingness to keep using technology to improve learning and certify Partners, even if they cannot be together in the same space.
