ebankIT bet on the North American Market

In its last print edition, Business IT highlighted ebankIT and Enterprise Engineering, Inc. (EEI) partnership and the ebankIT's bet on the North American Market.

The Portuguese company and Enterprise Engineering, Inc. (EEI) announced a partnership for open banking and digital banking platform solutions that will allow ebankIT to expand its footprint into the United States.

ebankIT has developed an omnichannel digital banking platform and partnered with EEI, an open banking integrator and implementer, to respond to the needs of financial institutions in the US market. “The sophistication and coverage completeness of the platform, combined with robustness and fast implementation, are some of the main reasons that lead customers to choose to work with ebankIT,” explains ebankIT CEO Renato Oliveira. Among the solution added value provided by the fintech are the “Open Banking integration” and the fact that “it speeds up the banks and credit unions digital transformation.”

With ebankIT, financial institutions can “create more sophisticated experiences for customers, as a result of more integrated management processes, made possible by the platform” and to have a “digital view of their behavior.” Customers can also experience and benefit from innovation in the processes, for example "the simple, fast and secure opening of a new bank account and the purchase of financial products at a distance.” The CEO highlighted another area where ebankIT solution has proved to be extremely appealing: the full mobile internet banking experience. Business customers are also fully supported, they can “streamline the operational and digital process using transactional operations; such as payment of salaries, suppliers and many others," explains Renato Oliveira. 

USA Markets Access

ebankIT already has a “substantial presence in Canada and, with the arrival in the United States, there is a strengthening of the position in the North American market. The company’s CEO reveals that the collaboration with EEI “represents a big step in consolidating the growth strategy” in this market. The ebankIT solution is specially adapted to this market, which makes “this partnership valuable for both” and reinforces the path ebankIT wants to take in North America “creating on a strong network of implementation and integration partners.” The strategy also "involves the ebankIT marketplace, which allows the creation and sharing of a third-party products and solutions to address the needs of customers.” Renato Oliveira concludes that, together with our partners, ebankIT already “identified a set of strategic customers to develop its operation in this market, which will be the priority for this year.”
