To gain insight into the future of digital banking interfaces, we turned to three industry experts to share their predictions that will define the next wave of user-centered financial experiences.
Ronald Moraes, lead product designer at ebankIT, says, "2025 can bring us a new challenge because of new devices like Apple Vision or other prototype glasses that will make us think a new way about layout without limits."

She mentions that as voice interfaces continue to evolve, they will pave the way for more discreet UIs, while gesture-based devices will compel designers to reevaluate banking interactions and address new usability and comfort challenges due to their distinct nature.
Bárbara Pereira, a lead product analyst, believes that 2025 will also be marked by AI development. "AI is one of the most transformative technologies for improving personalization and customer engagement, but also for fraud detection and risk assessment in real-time, which will help the banks maintain a secure environment."
Paula Oliveira adds that "AI developments allow for the creation of predictive models that can anticipate user needs and suggest relevant content or actions even before the users ask for them. So these models can learn from user behavior, from their history, and from their context to provide proactive recommendations."

Designers can use micro-interactions to give meaningful feedback, employing a minimalistic aesthetic and single-designed features. Financial institutions can tailor their UI for each customer segment, utilizing personalization to help bank clients achieve various target goals.
